This compact new-build house is constructed with a timber frame, where the bay size dictates the structure and façade openings. The timber frame is prefabricated in detail, allowing the client to assemble the house as a self-build kit in collaboration with the timber frame builder.

This sustainable construction method offers not only flexibility and lightness but also reduces CO2 emissions and provides excellent thermal insulation, resulting in an energy-efficient home.
